Our STELLAS are delicate, translucent tealight holders adorned with unique, star-like patterns.
DESIGN CONCEPT:
Ethereal porcelain cylinders that emit a warm, gentle glow, these lanterns are cast from ultrathin porcelain and covered in a constellation of tiny perforations. Each piece evokes the quiet magic of a night sky.
MATERIALS & TECHNIQUE:
Slip-cast from ultrathin porcelain and hand-perforated in the leather-hard stage. Interior surface is clear-glazed for light reflection; exterior remains unglazed to retain the raw porcelain texture.

Our porcelain is made by hand using multi-part molds. Where the mold parts meet, the liquid porcelain settles slightly differently, so pigments can gather and the seam may appear slightly richer in colour or gently raised.
The casting seam is simply part of the piece. It is not a flaw, but a sign of handcrafted production.
