we are happy to launch our new porcelain range RAW during this year´s VIENNA DESIGN WEEK
RAW is a new porcelain range made from recycled porcelain slip. all products are glazed transparently on the insides and unglazed/polished on the outside.
each item will be absolutely dishwasher and microwave safe.
during the recycling process new, not predictable beautiful colours will appear.
each colourbatch will be absolutely unique and non repeatable.
all procucts will be signed by a vignette, which shows the date of production.
RAW is modern, sustainable tableware which will daily remind us of taking care of our environment.

Tolerance and deformation are everyday concepts in social-political discourse and take on important dimensions in design and production processes. What deviations from the norm are tolerated? Who defines the norm? Doesn’t individuality lie in inexactness, in the little “flaws”? The porcelain manufactory of feinedinge* and the industrial designer Christian Stanek show deformed one-off objects in their exhibition, throw light on the insecure parameters of porcelain manufacture, and invite you to a workshop where you can not only experience this theme in practice but also the surprise of what porcelain is capable of.

starting on 1 june until 15 september 2012 we will officially be able to temporarily plant two parking spaces in front of our feinedinge* studio + the kunstraum hinterland.
the garden will be planted in fruit and vegetable crates + you are more than welcome to bring your own flowers, vegetables, herbs... and fill any still empty crates.

the amazing concept was conceived by design agency pudelskern from innsbruck and will be presented in LA PELOTA, an old ice skating ring ten minutes from the cathedral.
