wafer-thin cast porcelain cylinder hand crafted from limoges porcelain. unglazed lace structure on the outside.

info the haptic decor elements of the wafer-thin cast lamps are created by dipping vintage lace into porcelain cream of clay + then applying to the leather hard storm lanterns. when lighted the yarn of the lace burns without residue - leaving only the porcelain casting behind. each piece becomes one of a kind, reflecting and conserving the uniqueness of the antique lace for ever.
